What is the difference between NAN PRO 1, LACTOGEN PRO 1, and NAN EXCELLAPRO 1?
All three are Nestlé Stage 1 infant formulas designed for babies up to 6 months. While they share many similarities - including 12 vitamins, 13 minerals, and the probiotic L. reuteri - their on-pack ingredient profiles differ in a few important ways: NAN EXCELLAPRO 1 is the only one to list 5 HMOs (at 1.5 g/L). Only LACTOGEN PRO 1 lists GOS & FOS prebiotics. NAN PRO 1 and NAN EXCELLAPRO 1 both carry a DHA & ARA on-pack claim; LACTOGEN PRO 1 does not. NAN PRO 1 and NAN EXCELLAPRO 1 list 70% whey protein, while LACTOGEN PRO 1 lists 65%. Your pediatrician can help you understand which differences are most relevant for your baby.
