What is infant formula?
Infant formula is a milk substitute for infants from birth when they are not breastfed. Mother’s milk is the best for your baby but in case of unavailability or insufficiency consult your Pediatrician before opting for infant formula.
What are the benefits of NAN PRO?
NAN PRO is a spray dried formula for intants when they are not breastfed. It contains Whey Protein, DHA, ARA, Vitamins A, C and Zinc, along with Calcium and Vitamin D. NAN PRO 1 also contains probiotic L.reuteri. Some key nutrients in NAN PRO are:

What are the ingredients in NAN PRO?
NAN PRO is a spray dried formula for intants when they are not breastfed. It contains Whey Protein, DHA, ARA, Vitamins A, C and Zinc, along with Calcium and Vitamin D. NAN PRO 1 also contains probiotic L.reuteri. The full list of ingredients for NAN PRO are available on the pack, which differ for each stage of NAN PRO.
How much protein is there in NAN PRO?
Protien in NAN PRO differ with each stage. In NAN PRO 1, there is 10.7g of protein per 100g. The Whey: Casein protein ratio in NAN PRO 1 is 70:30. Whey protein is a component of milk protein which is easy to digest.
Does NAN PRO contain DHA and ARA?
Yes, NAN PRO contains both DHA and ARA.
Is NAN PRO easy to digest?
NAN PRO contains Whey Protein. Whey protein is a component of milk protein, which is easy to digest. NAN PRO 1 also contains the probiotic L. reuteri, Probiotics are live microorganisms naturally found in the gut and help support natural balance of gut microbiome
Does NAN PRO contain probiotics or prebiotics?
NAN PRO 1 contains L. reuteri, which are probiotics.
Does NAN PRO contain allergens?
NAN PRO contains milk and soy ingredients. Consult with your Pediatrician before consuming NAN PRO if your baby is allergic to soy or lactose.
Is there sugar in NAN PRO?
NAN PRO does not contain any refined or table sugar and has a sucrose value of zero. It contains lactose predominantly, which is a natural sugar found in milk. Lactose is also present in human milk and is recognized as the preferred carbohydrate in infant nutrition according to the FSS (Foods for Infant Nutrition Regulation, 2020).
What type of sugar is in NAN Pro?
The primary sugar in NAN PRO is lactose, also known as milk sugar. It is also present in human milk, making it a suitable carbohydrate source for infants. As per the FSS (Foods for Infant Nutrition Regulation, 2020), lactose is considered the preferred carbohydrate for infant nutrition, and it is the predominant type of sugar in our formulation.
Does NAN PRO contain palm oil?
No, NAN PRO does not have any Palm oil.
Preparation & Feeding
How do I prepare NAN PRO?
Prepare NAN PRO in a few simple steps
- Wash your hands carefully.
- Boil bottle, bowl and spoon
- Boil drinking water and allow to cool#
- Consult feeding table, pour exact amount of previously boiled water into bottle. Please look for the ml markings on bottle.
- Consult feeding table and add exact number of leveled scoops for age of baby. Shake bottle well to dissolve powder.
- Feed baby with bowl and spoon. Discard leftover feed.
# To maintain the number of living cultures, the boiled water must be cooled down to about body temperature before adding the powder.
How many feeds per day should I give my baby?
The number of feeds depends on the baby’s age. Always follow the feeding table and consult your pediatrician for guidance.

Which NAN PRO should I give my baby? Difference between NAN PRO 1, 2, 3 and 4?
NAN PRO is made for different age groups in infants when not breastfed. Consult your Pediatrician to choose the appropriate one according to your baby’s age.

Usage Guidance
Should I consult a doctor before starting NAN PRO?
Mother’s milk is the best for your baby but in case of unavailability or insufficiency it is recommended to check with your Pediatrician before starting NAN PRO.
Can I store prepared NAN PRO in the fridge?
Only prepare one feed at a time. Feed immediately and follow the instructions exactly. Any leftover formula at the end of each feed should be discarded.
How do I store NAN PRO after opening?
On opening, transfer the contents of the pack along with the pouch into a clean airtight container. After each use, replace lid tightly and store in a cool, dry and hygienic place. After opening, use the contents within 3 weeks or the USE BY date, whichever is earlier.

NAN PRO 3 is a spray dried follow-up formula with DHA, ARA, Vitamins A,C, D, Calcium, Zinc and Iron for infants after 12 and up to 18 months when they are not breastfed.
How to feed NAN PRO?
Once NAN PRO is prepared with the correct Method of Preparation (link to method of preparation), feed your baby with a bowl and spoon and discard any leftover feed.
How long can NAN PRO be kept?
After opening use the contents within 3 weeks or the USE BY date, whichever is earlier.
